The history of the dance music project Novaspace is one worth to be told. The changes regarding the cast as well as the concept in the last few years can be called extraordinary, especially since Novaspace continues to remain successful internationally.

In 2002, Novaspace is conceived by Konsum Records, the commercially oriented sub-label of the Kosmo Music GmbH, in cooperation with the producer Felix Gauder. Right from the start, the attractive blond actress Jessica Boehrs is won over as the lead singer.

The first single “Time After Time” already turns into a huge surprise hit, enters the top 10 of the German single sales charts and lays the foundation of Novaspace’s international success.

An impressive series of hits follows in its wake. Titles like “So Lonely”, “Beds Are Burning”, define Novaspace’s very own trademark sound with dance-oriented cover versions of world hits and, on the production side, are simultaneously preparing the ground for follow-up acts such as Cascada.

Worldwide club tours, TV appearances and festival gigs follow: In 2006, Novaspace has developed into one of the most successful international dance acts.

It became quieter around Novaspace in the following years. Jessica Boehrs continued her acting career, Felix Gauder celebrated great chart successes with acts like Blue Lagoon.

In late 2008, the young, talented and gorgeous Jenny Marsala auditioned as a singer in Gauder’s studio. He was so impressed with her charisma and her unique voice that he immediately hired her as the new lead singer for the revival of Novaspace.

The first single, “Dancing Into Danger”, published in January 2009, already entered the German top 100 single charts. Right away, Novaspace also drew attention internationally again. Especially so in the Czech Republic, where “Dancing Into Danger” as well as the two follow-up singles entered the top 20 charts.

In the first year of her career as a musician, Jenny Marsala performed live on stage almost every weekend and kept turning international clubs into bedlams with her extraordinary stage presence.

Finally, Novaspace’s new single, “Close Your Eyes” is here. It boasts not only the new singer Jenny Marsala, but also the first original composition and a new sound.

The future belongs to Jenny Marsala. Novaspace is finally back.
